Project management
Project Management requires a full time staff member to oversee grant projects that have been awarded. The documentation and monitoring that most state and federal programs requires is overwhelming if you did not design the project and/or you are an administrator that has just been handed the task of managing a new project.
ESS, Inc. has developed a team of individuals that can manage your funded projects utilizing the following tools:
- Time (Are we on schedule)
- Cost (Are we within our budget)
- Resources (How much time are we spending on the project)
- Scope (Is the scope in line with expectations and meeting set goals)
- Quality (Are we reviewing and correcting quality problems)
- Actions (Do we have action items outstanding)
There is a saying that if it cannot be measured, it cannot be managed. Traditionally, projects have used schedules and budgets to monitor progress. Just because a project came in on time and budget does not mean it is a success.
ESS can devise a method to collect the data and put mechanisms in place that automates the collection of information.

ESS can utilize the tools to focus on problem areas, make adjustments when they are needed, and report findings to the administration, funding organization, and/or the external evaluation team when appropriate. Contract with ESS for your next grant project. We can help you show off!
