Monthly Consulting
Charter schools that contract with us for monthly consulting services benefit from the extensive experience available from the ESS staff.
An example of activities provided for a monthly fee include:
- TEA Compliance visits (Initial On-Site Review)
- Client schools have consistently received positive comments from the TEA Accountability Team leaders and auditors. Our staff supported the schools with their charter applications, ESL programs, and financial documentation and made a positive and drastic difference during these visits.
- Support included prior to, during and after on-site visit:

- Self-Evaluation Document preparation assistance
- On-site visit to prepare school for TEA visit
- Technical Assistance to prepare for the visit
- Two days of on-site attendance to interface with the TEA monitoring team
- Assistance with writing and coordinating Corrective Actions Responses
- Corrective Actions Review follow-up
- Technical assistance regarding the SBOE and other State agencies.
- Services include research, integration and support in reporting to TEA, generic Board policies, calendars, and templates to ensure charter school success.
- Startup/Dissemination Grant Templates
- including research regarding what the grant will support, recommendations for models, and support in the design of the original grant application.
- Title Application Preparation and Negotiations
- Extensive research and training has been invested in understanding the new applications. We will customize and develop budgets for charter schools and work with TEA until the application is processed.
